Understanding the 12 Chakra System
Years ago now, I was having a session with one of my first psychic teachers.
We sat across from each other in her living room… Her eyes were closed, and a crystal pendulum gently dangled from her fingers, wildly swinging from side to side.
Quite suddenly, she stopped.
Opening her eyes, she gazed across at me quite curiously, seeming to look right through me deep into my soul… She then asked, with a sense of surprise.
“You're already in the 12 chakra system? …When did this happen?”
I blankly stared back at her… I had no idea what she was talking about.
And without a word she seemed to know this, and so she closed her eyes again.
“Ahhh, the energy wave in 2008” she said… Like that made any sense.
“Hmmm, un-grounded though, you'll have to fix that…”She continued to scan my energy without another word, stopping every so often to jot something down in a little notebook, and then continuing with them “hmms” and “ahhs.”
Finally, she was finished, and she began to explain the 12 chakra system to me. The system I had stumbled my way into without even knowing how or why. The same advanced chakra system that you are now moving into or if you're like me you may already be fully in it without a clue!
And the same system that Archangel Metatron so beautifully helps you to cleanse and fully activate in the new chakra balancing session.
Yes, you read that right, you have far more than just 7 chakras…
And I am going to be covering 13 main chakras that make up the 12 Chakra System here.
So why is it called the 12 Chakra System when there are 13 chakras! Well, we're talking about chakras 0-12 here!
But the reality is that you have thousands of minor chakra energetic centers throughout your mind body, and spirit.
However by viewing the energy body through the 12 Chakra System you're able to see and experience your complete, and balanced energy body system.

Chakra 0 – Your Earth Star Chakra
As a physical being on Earth, you have a unique connection with the Ascending Earth, and to All That Is.
Your Earth Star Chakra is your personal link the Earth’s life force, to the crystalline grid, and to the Divine light contained within the Earth.

Chakra 1- Your Root Chakra
Your root chakra is located at the base of your spine, in your pelvic area, and at the center of your body. Your root chakra is your grounding chakra which helps you to stay centered, secure, active, energized and present.
Your root chakra allows Divine energy to flow from the Earth up into the rest of your chakras, and is an important foundation for the 7 chakras of contained within your physical body.
Your root chakra allows you to experience safety and security in your life when balanced.
Chakra 2- Your Sacral Chakra
Your sacral chakra is your center of creativity and sexuality. Dealing with issues of relationships and how you interact socially, this center is the dwelling place of your Self.
The sacral chakra rules abundance, creativity, wellness, pleasure, and joy. This center also controls passions, sex and pleasure, and brings the lesson of learning to let go.
Chakra 3- Your Solar Plexus Chakra
The Solar Plexus is your personal power center and it is a storehouse of energy, be it positive, (growth and healing) or negative (pain, fear, and stress).
The solar plexus is your center of will, and it controls issues from the past as well as ambitions and goals for success in the future. This is the center of your personality as a physical being, and it’s state of balance is directly correlated with your sense of willpower, self-acceptance, and your ambition to succeed.
Chakra 4- Your Heart Chakra
Your heart chakra is located in the center of your being and is where the physical and spiritual meet, and where your emotions come into play.
The heart controls relationships, and when open, allows you to flow through your relating with others with love and compassion. An open heart chakra allows you to be empathetic to the feelings and emotions of others, while remaining true and in tune with your own.
The heart rules emotional healing, and of course love for self and others, as well as overseeing your appreciation of beauty, and your willingness for compassion. The heart is a sacred portal, which when open allows you, access to the gifts of your higher energetic centers, and in and of itself is the doorway to the realms of angels and Divine love.

Chakra 5- Your Throat Chakra
Your throat chakra is your communication center, and it is the center of truth, personal expression, listening, responsibility, faith and creativity. Anything dealing with voice (singing, acting, communicating, talking, or listening) is ruled by the throat chakra.
The throat chakra when opened and balanced allows you to speak the truth of Divine Love.
Chakra 6- Your Third Eye Chakra
Your third eye chakra is located in the center of your forehead, and is your center of psychic ability. Your third eye also plays a role in your feeling, sensing, and hearing ability. This chakra also connects you energies beyond the physical.
Your third eye chakra regulates the decisions you make, and what you consider to be important. It oversees your dreamtime, and connects you with the subconscious mind and with the higher realms of spirit. Learning, memory, telepathy, clairvoyance, mediumship, aura sensing, are all ruled by the third eye chakra.
Chakra 7- Your Crown Chakra
Your crown chakra connects you to the higher spiritual realms. It rules your dreams, visions, hopes, and Divine realizations. Spiritual downloads, connection to Spirit, and alignment with your higher purpose are all possible through an awakened and balanced Crown Chakra.
When your crown Chakra is open and you are linked to the infinite light of the Divine above, anything is possible in your life including the fruition of your dreams, a true connection with spirit, and even enlightenment.
Chakra 8- Your Soul Star Chakra
Your 8th chakra, is the Soul Star Chakra. When activated, Divine light is able to flow through this energetic center to access higher consciousness. Here Divine love can be truly felt and experienced, and awareness of your power as a Divine soul and spiritual being is recognized.
When open, Divine light flows up through this chakra, connecting you to the infinite power of the Divine light above before flowing back down to your entire being to replenish, empower, and enlighten, before flowing up once again.
In many senses your soul star chakra could be called your chalice of soul energy as the full essence and power of your accumulated soul experiences are available here. Want to access the akashic records? This too is possible from within your soul star chakra as is total soul realization.
Chakra 9- Your Spirit Chakra
This chakra, when opened will allow you to link to the expanse realms of spirit. Here you will remember your direct connection with Source, and your ability to communicate with light beings, angels, guides, and star beings from around the galaxy.
When this chakra is activeted, you willingly surrender to the flow of Spirit and allow the blessings of Divine will to flow into your experience.
The full extent of your souls gifts and abilities are also available for you to access, perfect, and draw upon, along with the realization of your expansive ability to create, empowered through your direct connection to Source.
Chakra 10- Your Universal Chakra
This chakra represents the universal aspects of being. All That Is, is contained within one universal flow, and this chakra is the access point to that infinite flow of creation. When this chakra is activated you feel in close alignment to the Universe and All That Is. The pathway is paved for you to connect with the Divine light beings in the universe and to complete the alignment of your Divine light body with your physical being.
This chakra activated allows for your Divine Merkaba light body to be fully constructed, allowing unlimited access to travel within the higher realms of spirit.
Divine healing, balance and full access to the Divinity of your soul are possible with the activation of your Universal chakra.
Chakra 11- Your Galactic Chakra
Your galactic chakra, when activated allows for advanced spiritual skills, travel beyond the limits of time and space, teleportation, bi-location, and instant manifestation.
Here you are able to reach anywhere in the realms of Creation, communicate with the highest vibrational light beings, ascended masters, and the great brotherhood of light… Here you are able to bring healing, insight and growth from the highest realms into your present existence. Activating this chakra within yourself brings balance to humanity, Earth, and the higher realms of spirit.
Chakra 12- Your Divine Gateway Chakra
With your Divine Gateway chakra activated, your Divine essence is intact. This chakra center is the Divine light portal allowing your complete connection to Divine Source, and offering an open doorway to explore other worlds and realms.
Here, full ascension, advanced spiritual skills, complete oneness with Divinity and full connection to the cosmos, other worlds, and beyond is realized.
Here you enter the Super Galactic Realms, access the Divine Mother, and the Womb of the entire Universe. Activating this chakra allow you to access the Goddess light, become one with the Mother, and become a star gate yourself enabling peace, balance, and ascension to enter into humanity through you.
All the rays of the Divine, and all the qualities of the Divine represented by the higher vibrational beings align with you here.

How Energy Flows Through Your Chakra System
Infinite Divine light from the cosmos and heavens above shines down upon your energy body system. It flows in through your higher chakras, down and in through your crown chakra at the top of your head… It then flows down along your spinal column, through your 7 chakra system, down through your Earth Star Chakra, and all the way down in a grounding column or pillar of crystalline light to the light at the core of the Earth.
You're one with this light at the core of the Earth, that is one with the Divine, and All That Is.
Infinite Divine light and frequency then flows up from the core of the Earth, up through your Earth Star Chakra and up into your Root Chakra. From there, it flows up along your spine in a column of Divine White Light through all 7 chakras within your physical body. It then continues up and out your crown chakra at the top of your head, through your higher chakra energy centers 8-12, connecting you directly with the Divine. You are one with the Divine, and with All That Is.

Hi,
I use a different 12 chakra system which includes the higher heart, the pineal gland, the chakra at the back of the head, one above the crown and one to the left of the one above the crown. Sometimes the one to the right of the higher crown (#13) opens spontaneously and sometimes it takes a few weeks. I found this version of the 12 chakra system also opens up all the other ones above the head that you mentioned in due time. I now actively work with 16 chakras and I can “see” the others above those gradually coming into alignment.

I first heard of the 12 chakra system a while after meeting my twin flame, years ago. Somewhere along the way, I came across an article stating twin flames are in the 12 chakra system, which does make sense. The lifetime they incarnate and meet is supposed to be their final lifetime, before ascending. First they must clear their energies, heal core wounds and begin their service to God/Source/Spirit, until they ascend. Of course, that’s the over simplified explanation but wanted you to know, I could never find any information on the specifics of the 12 chakra system after hearing about it. So thank you so much for the good and detailed information!

I don’t know what chakra i would need to work with primarily with the given set of circumstances I’m facing, but I’m open to learning more and feel that this would present itself as I become ready to hear about it.
I recently started hearing more about the higher chakras in a post related to angels and didn’t quite get into the other posts that mentioned this as I didn’t feel i worked enough of the lower chakras. I indeed feel it could be a great thing to learn about these and appreciate you for sharing.
I’ll have to ask my guardian angels how we should proceed because this is definitely interesting.

Thanks for the knowledge you have shared. Angels have been guiding me for some time and they brought me to You. Last few days I was wondering why it is said that there are 12 Chakras and today I find your post. Endless gratitude to you and the Angels.

About a year ago, I received an energy balancing / “tune up” so to speak through my friend who is an energy worker and channel. She told me that “They” downloaded the “Full Ascension Program” into my (non physical) body. That it will take many years for the entire thing to unfold within me. That’s about all I can remember about that. I do hope it will be all those extra chakras you have explained in this article. These abilities will help me to achieve many great things during my stay on this planet. When I retire this year to be self-employed I will be able to go to many different kinds of retreats and seminars to learn all I can about achieving higher states of consciousness, etc.
