There are some physical causes for tingling that are good to be aware of. High blood pressure, circulation problems, or nervous system challenges can all cause tingling.
Tingling sensations however, a very common way in which angels and the Divine will communicate their presence with you. So if you’ve ruled our physical causes for the tingling, look to spirit for the source!
What Does Crown Chakra Tinging Mean?
If you ignore the tingling sensation, it may persist, or if your crown chakra is blocked, or fully closed, the tingling can transition into a headache if ignored. The simple remedy for spiritual tingling when you notice it, is to allow Divine light, frequency and information to flow through you.
Tingling sensations are quite common, as it is naturally for the chakras to close and block off the flow of Divine guidance. The tingling is like a calling card from spirit reminding you to open up to the guidance and presence in the moment.
Your third eye chakra, throat chakra, heart chakra, and your hands are other common places you may experience “spiritual tingling” as you open to receiving more guidance, information, frequency, and healing from the spiritual realms.
Your third eye chakra in the center of your forehead relates to your spiritual and psychic sight. When this energy center is tingling, it is a call from spirit to open to the flow of energy through you, to increase your awareness, and to see and perceive what is really happening around you.
For many people the third eye chakra was fully open in childhood, and somehow through painful experiences, fear, or social conditioning it closed. When your third eye chakra is tingling… It’s a call from your spirit, and from Divine spirit that you’re ready to receive and perceive more spiritual information through this psychic and intuitive energy center.
If you are feeling tingling in your throat chakra, it’s likely a call from spirit to speak your Truth. Yes I did mean to capatlize truth there, because I am talking about your highest truth in alignment with your authentic self and in line with divine love. Allow yourself to speak the divine guidance you are tuning into when you feel a tinging in your throat.
The angels often call your heart chakra the direct portal to the Divine and angelic realms. If you’re feeling tingling in this area, it’s a simple message to open your heart to love, and that your angels, and spirit guides are on hand and ready to connect with you.
As Archangel Metatron has said:
“Your heart chakra, your sacred portal of Love is essential for healing, and is essential for allowing light to reach your higher chakras, which are the bulk of where psychic and intuitive information is perceived and experienced.”
Quiet your mind, focus within, and consciously place the intention to open your heart. The heart chakra is a powerful energy center for receiving and sending love, and through opening this energetic center the miraculous can truly be felt and experienced.
Your hands contain energy centers located in the center of each of your palms. It is through the “hand chakras” that you are able to send and receive energy.
Energy healers will often feel tingling in the hands when healing energy wants to or has begun to flow. When you’re doing energy healing work and your hands seem to get hot, this is a sign to release excess energy. You can shake your hands, place them on the earth or run them under water to effectively do this.
When the feet or legs are experiencing tingling sensations, it’s most often an indication of the blockage of your energetic flow. Have you ever sat cross legged cutting off circulation to your feet and your feet start tingling or “falling asleep”? This is a good physical example of why tinging in the legs and feet can occur… Because energy and blood are cut off from flowing to this area.
There may be energetic blockages that can lead to tingling in the legs and feet as well. Grounding your energy to the earth, and focusing on reestablishing a positive energy flow through your being is powerful for releasing energetic blockages, and promoting healing and wellbeing as you simply allow divine light to flow through you.
When you’re consistently feeling tingling sensations (and have ruled out physical causes with your doctor) it’s likely a call from spirit to consciously focus on the flow of Divine energy through your being.
How do you do this?
Here is a simple process I channeled with Archangel Metatron which you can return to at any time, to restore your energetic flow, and to allow the Divine presence, light, and love to flow through your being.
Allow Divine light to flow through you.
Imagine a beautiful orb of Divine light above you, which pours down around you and flows down out the bottom of your feet… Feel your awareness flow down with this light, all the way to the core of the earth.
Take a moment to breathe, relax and notice how you feel.
You may feel a tingling of energy, you may see or sense the presence of your angels, or you may not be experiencing anything. Don't worry.
Notice the light of the earth below you. Tune into it and feel your connection with the earth, with the light at the core of the earth, and with All That Is.
Now imagine the light at the core of the earth, that is one with all is begins to flow up. Experience light flowing up through the bottom of your feet, up through each of your chakra energy centers along your spine.
Imagine a column of white light flowing up along your spinal column activating and opening each of your chakra energy centers, releasing blockages and reconnecting you with the brilliant light of the Divine.
Breathe in a deep breath of white light and as you exhale, let go of any blockages hindering this energetic flow. Release any dense energy over to your angels and into the light, allowing the brilliant, stable energy of the Divine to flow through.
From your feet and the earth below, envision Divine light flowing up your spinal column, through your chakras, all the way up to the top of your head to your crown chakra, your center of awakening, connection with spirit, detachment from illusion and alignment with higher truth.
Imagine your crown chakra opening up and as you do, the light from below is able to stream up and the Divine light from above, a giant orb of light above you now, is now able to pour down.
And so the earth energy flows all the way up, reaching your crown, linking you to the heavens, to Divine light, to All That Is.
And then this light energy of the Divine flows back down, and as it flows down it cleanses further, cleansing your crown, third eye, throat, heart, solar plexus, sacral, root, the minor chakras in your legs and feet, and now grounding you to the earth, to this present moment, allowing you to be focused, aware, calm, and connected, and now within this moment, with your chakra energy centers awakened and active, open and balanced.
Imagine that all the energy that is yours, all aspects of yourself across the lines of time, all of your personal power and gifts and abilities and strengths and light, the full vibration that you are returns to you in this present moment.
Feel your personal power streaming back to you in this now, returning to you, centering now your power, your light, your purpose, anchoring with you in this present moment for the highest and greatest good.
You are grounded, you are centered, you are open, you have completed the prerequisite to opening to your healing gifts, your spiritual abilities, and your intuition.
This is powerful work made possible through your presence.
Healing and maintaining this Divine flow of light, combined with awareness, mindfulness, presence, and persistence, will prove to you that you are experiencing beyond the realm of the physical that you are able to flow through you Divine healing light.
Allow the Divine light to fill your body, and to flow through you so you are a pillar of light. So you are able to fill yourself with light and overflow Divine light, love and blessings towards others. Keep with this visualization of light flowing through you to stay grounded to the Earth below and the Heavens above, surrounded with the Divine light of love, healing and protection.

Hi. So I have a question about about this energy that I feel when I’m either thinking about my manifestations, meditating, or just positive thoughts. And best I can describe it is like a warm fuzzy feeling almost a light burn that starts from my hands and rises all up my arms to my chest or heart I guess it’d be and it feels good but I don’t know what it is… I know I am spiritually gifted but have trouble accessing, knowing and how to navigate through these feelings.

I’ve been going through the process of getting in touch with my higherself and elevating my vibration. Lately I’ve been feeling this tingling in my right arm under my elbow and fingers. I was wondering if this is one of the symptoms of the vibrational shift? I also type a lot at work. I’m new to this and I also have a lot of neck and shoulder pain and for the first time experience high blood pressure.

Hello, I meditate most days and listen to frequency music. And talk to the spirit. I know my grandma is around me most of the time as a clairvoyant told me when I went to a spiritualist church. I felt a tingling sensation on my head and someone touching my face. But the other day I wanted to use a pendulum and ask some questions about job stuff and my future. I got answers. Then I read online it can be dangerous to use a pendulum and negative energy or spirits can come through. it has freaked me out.Now I am afraid to meditate and that . I keep feeling a tingling on the top of my right side of my head. how can I protect myself ?
I woke up with a buzzing in my hand similar to when your phone is on vibrate with the message he will contact you. I was kind of in-between being asleep and awake. Then my alarm went off right after that. My phone was not in my hand it was by my head. I also woke up startled honestly. Like I almost sat up straight like WHAT.

I got my headache when I was 20 years old. It is the type of headache that a person will always remember, it is very excruciating. When I experienced this headache I developed empathic and telepathic abilities. I started having visions and could see my grandfather who had recently passed away. I am now 25 and for about the last month I have had tingling around my third eye. Good information. I get this after a thought or realization comes to my mind, and I get a rush of tingling over my scalp, neck, shoulders and arms. The only thing I can relate it to is an orgasm, but still different and lasts longer. It is quite wonderful.
Every morning at 4:00am I get intense tingling on my hands then I pray and also sing to a clapping song then I get the healing of the tingling a. My heart chakra also force me to do deep breathing and I also get sinus irritation. I believe The spirit is asking me to connect with high power

This is by far the most accurate article I have read over 10+ of my research into the experience the average human is blessed or cursed with. I began to question at 7-8 years why I was so different from most my peers. Why did I feel emotions of the entire spectrum at once when in minor emotional situations. How could I tell when someone was happy or sad telling the truth or lying when absolutely everyone else is blind to it? At 12 years old I played a cash poker game with nothing but men my fathers and grandfathers age and just me no other kids. I learned in my first poker game ever playing that I could read these men many of who I had never met but I couldn’t tell you what gave them away. Lst night I experienced something . I don’t know what was that but it really scared me. I was going through the comments to find similarly with my situation and then I saw your comment. I’m having a permanent crawling sensation on my left shoulder. It feels like someone is pressing that place with hand. And last night I felt like someone is tickling in my feet and legs. And now when I’m writing this comment I’m feeling like something is crawling my back. I was told by many mediators that I’ve my gaurdian angel with me but I cannot understand if these things are done by Angel or not.

Thankyou for that and just reading it I started to tingle everywhere lol, possibly a coincidence I know,but I do know that I am opening to my gifts a lot more,as I think that I might of had my first ,part prophetic dream the other night, I was abroad not sure where,iv never even left the UK,but in my dream I was at what was some kind of peace talks ,and then the only way I can describe it is it looked like when the sea starts to ripple, but on dry land along with some trembling,the next day watching the news only because they were on about an earthquake that came without warning and hit Italy during the night causing a lot of damage ,could you please confirm maybe 1way or another from one of the angels if it was,then I know to start taking notes about my dreams in future,i would be so grateful if you could

I don’t think I truly understand how my third eye work. Ever since I was a kid I would get this weird tingling vibe like sensation on my forehead, the tingling can be so strong sometimes I can feel it travel through my head and down my spine. It freaks me out because the feeling can sort of be paralyzing, I mean to the point that I can’t stand for anyone to Get close to or even touch my forehead, because it would start to tingle like crazy. Is that normal?
I´m trying to find a meaning of tingling on top RIGHT side on my head. It has been very persistant over past few days. It comes and goes. At the same time right under my middle finger on left palm is itchy like crazy. Wondering if there is any connection.

For a few months I have been experiencing a tingling/ tickling feeling at the back of my neck about two inches to the left of my spine. It extends to a length of about 3-4 inches. It comes and goes, but it seems to be occurring more now. My mother passed way in January 2014 and I was wondering if it was her, or if it was my spirit guide. My dear son also passed away aged 6 from cancer in 1980 but I have not had any tingling/tickling sensations until recently. I would love to be able to have vivid dreams about him so I would feel close to him to ease the pain of his loss, but sadly this has not happened. A colleague of mine also has the tingling sensations and she said it is in the same place and is her spirit guide.
I am not aware of being psychic, but I did see a ghost of an old lady in my bedroom about 16 years ago and I think it was the old lady who used to live there. I now sleep in another room. Also for quite a while there have been noises in the bedroom where I now sleep. I had a group of mediums round a few months ago and they ascertained that it was an old lady who was still in the front bedroom where I saw her (in spite of the fact that I had had a vicar come round and say prayers in each room and do the sign of the cross on each doorway, and I thought the spirit had gone). There was also the spirit of a child of about 8 years old. I could write a lot more but it would take a long time and I’m not sure if you would want that.
Also I took photos on my phone on a timer in the front bedroom in darkness where I had seen the ghost. There was an oval bright shape on the photos in exactly the place where I had seen the ghost of the old lady. A friend in the USA (who also has ghosts in his house) I sent them to said he could see a face, although I couldn’t see a face, only the bright oval/orb of light. He said it was a woman of about 50, but the ghost I saw was in her 80s. One of the mediums said there is sometimes a vortex down which spirits can enter, so I am wondering if this is what happened and that there were two ladies one in her 80s and the other in her 50s.

This information has really helped me. A little over two years ago when my mother introduced other forms of spiritualism to me, it was like the flood gates opened up for me. I had a dream in which a man (the second time I’ve dreamed about him) came to me. He told me that I didn’t remember him. He had blonde hair and it seemed like he was definitely from another time period. He was wearing gold armor with celtic knotwork on his shoulders and he had black whisps (almost like tentacles but like mist) coming from behind his back. He spoke without moving his lips. After that, my forehead has been tingling. Every time I think about him, my forehead tingles like crazy. Every time I try to research for answers, my forehead tingles. So, I am in the process of looking for someone to help me with doing a reading.

I have been also been told by the church and psychic mediums i have this gift but afraid to use it. I have in the past year or so researching and reading articles from individuals like yourself. I find it very difficult to work on my self with out a one on one personal instructor by my side to teaching me and talking me through the process. It is also very difficult to read such learning and do it at the same time. Is it possible for one like my self to be the teacher, reading the process and teaching/ speaking it over another individual? Would this be a proper or one way or advantage for me to learn more by acting as the teacher over an individual for their own healing. I am wondering if by following the way i have explained to you, will this form of my practicing this method this way eventually be a tool for my learning and gift of healing?
I have a tingling sensation at my middle forehead. It occurs frequently without any meditation.Now I alone can start this sensation just by closing my eyes. The sensation sends pulses of tingling from mid forehead via neck to mid spine. After few days i got scared about this tingling and consulted a neurologist. I got MRI’s of spine and brain which showed normal. Does this condition relates to any spiritual signal.

I’ve never heard of spiritual chills before but have been experiencing them for quite some time. Almost every time I say grace silently before a meal, I get chills around my upper back, arms and throat even though I’m not cold. Or when a relative is going to die, depending on how the person will die I will experience a chill where the cause of death will be, i.e. the chill ran through one side of my head and then a relative died from a massive stroke. Usually these chills occur on or just beneath the skin. I experienced a very unusual one recently, where it started from my throat and it ran through my heart and then out to the left of my stomach. This when I came close to my mother, who is deteriorating from lung cancer. I didn’t say or do anything about it.
I have felt tingling in my hands for years when meditating and praying so simply went with it and now feel it is simply God’s way of working with me.

Wonderful article! This confirms the many angel encounters I’ve had and continue to have. Ever since my husband passed away I felt his energy all around me … Though some may have doubted and thought I was crazy I knew the tingling in my head, arms, buzzing in my ears was always him making his presence known and letting me know he was with me.
